Comet Life

I saw a comet in the sky
And I, wish we could all learn from it
Such a galant fiery horse
Whose course, sadly has been limited
By gravity

And I wish you could see
Oh why, you ain’t free
That you can
Move on straight ahead instead
Of circling those who just don’t care
I wish, you’d stop living
A sad comet life

Why are comets always bound
To turn around
Everytime they get far enough
It almost looks like they like, to be disliked
By a cold dying star
That melts the comet away

And I wish you could see
Oh why, you ain’t free
That you can
Move on straight ahead instead
Of circling those who just don’t care
I wish, you’d stop living
A sad comet life

You can’t last forever
How could you?
If you don’t change way
If you don’t steer away from her

And I wish you could see
Oh why, you ain’t free
That you can
Move on straight ahead instead
Of circling those who just don’t care
I wish, you’d stop living
A sad comet life
